Pre-requisite: 1- hour asynchronous anatomy recording must be viewed prior to the in-person event. A link to the video will be sent 1 - 2 weeks prior to the course.

This intermediate-level session is limited to the first 20 clinicians who register.

Go beyond 2D images and models to deepen your understanding of human anatomy and strengthen your clinical treatment of pelvic floor disorders. This hands-on experiential educational event is limited to 20 participants.

This multimodal educational experience will explore the body structures of the pelvic region with an emphasis on utilizing anatomic knowledge to inform assessment and treatment. This course includes asynchronous, in person didactic and hands-on cadaver exploration elements.

Cadaver exploration is an immersive learning environment that goes beyond 2D images and models, enabling practitioners to deepen their understanding of human anatomy and how the body systems work together. The hands-on component, combined with clinical case application, ensures comprehensive understanding and improved clinical decision making.

Course Objectives:

  • Identify the structures of the pelvic region on cadaveric prosections
  • Describe the function of pelvic floor muscles with interrelated body systems
  • Explain the effects of surgery, disease and injury for pelvic related dysfunctions
  • Apply anatomy knowledge to improve clinical evaluative skills
  • Theorize about clinical presentations based upon learned anatomy and medical history of the prosected cadaver

Target Audience: Licensed Physical Therapists / Occupational Therapists and PTAs / COTAs who are currently practicing in the field of pelvic health or for those who have an interest in this specialized area.

Requirement for successful course completion: Satisfactory completion of the continuing education units consists of full attendance with monitored sign in and sign out forms and completion of an online course feedback form (self assessment of learning outcomes).

Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation will reimburse you the cost of the registration, if we have to cancel a course due to low enrollment, weather, or an emergency situation. We are not responsible for any other costs associated with attending a conference. If you are on the waiting list of a course and do not get in, we will not charge your credit card; if you paid by check we will send the check back to you. In the event that a course is rescheduled we will provide you the option of applying the tuition towards the rescheduled course in lieu of a full refund.
